WHAT’S IN A NAME?

I’m often asked, why ‘Fraba‘ Baseball, what does Fraba mean?

Well it comes from one of my favorite movies, ‘Anger Management’ with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.  Early in the movie, Jack Nicholson who plays an anger management therapist teaches his group to use the phrase “Gooz Fraba” to help calm down.  He expains… “that sound is a derrivation of an old eskimo word that mothers used to calm their children”.  Later in the movie in a scene on the baseball field you see members of the New York Yankees using it.

So when I saw that ‘Fraba Baseball’ was available, I couldn’t resist it and Fraba-Baseball.com was born!
